Password protection
Web Viewer passwords are stored as strong hashes, never as plain text.
Encrypted relay fallback
TURN is offered only when direct P2P cannot connect. Relay traffic is encrypted in transit and is not recorded by P2P HomeCam.
Minimal connection data
The service processes limited connection and security metadata needed to operate and protect the service.
Your video stays yours
Camera video and recordings are not stored on the P2P HomeCam server.
Practical security
No internet service can promise absolute security. Use a unique password, protect your phone and keep the app updated.
